I have been approached to do Santa Pictures for the local American Legion Children's Christmas Party and it seems like I need a good photo printer and photo paper to shoot and print on location. Anyone got any suggestions on printers? Anyone done this before? Advice???? THANKS!!

Most any Epson or Canon PHOTO printers should work well. If the printer has a USB connection for PicBridge connection you can print direct from camera, otherwise an EyeFi SD card and computer would be the easiest way to get the files from camera to printer.

dslrBooth and an epson artisan printer with a CIS system is all you need, less than $250 all together:

DSLRBOOTH $50
EPSON ARTISAN 837 $137
CIS INK SYSTEM $60

Here is a thread with all the info

On this type of event I've found that two printers with womeone runing both of them helps a lot. I have friend that helps and uses his printer along with mine. This is one of those things I would hate to do without backup equipment so this method takes care of that too. - Dave
