I have watching the wildlife for some time before being introduced to the Reddish Egrets at the Bolsa Chica wetlands in Huntington Beach. Unlike their patient stalking cousins these Egrets jump flap and run around to stir or scare up dinner. It almost looks as if these beautiful birds are dancing. I'm posting a few photos that capture a fraction of this magnificent birds hunting performance. I hope they give it justice. :)

Excellent :thumbup: :thumbup: and exciting. Thank you. I'll stop by there from San Diego next trip to L.A. to see them. Just the chance of seeing one and maybe snapping a photo is well worth the detour.
I don't think we have them in San Diego. The closest we have here are Little Blue Herons.
