I take great pride in the care of my camera equipment. The T2i body only has a few cosmetic blemishes that do not affect the functioning of the camera in any way:
1. The rubber grip had partially separated from the body, so I superglued it back in place.
2. The perimeter of the LCD has remnants of glue along the outer edge from a loupe attachment that I had previously used. The adhesive does not affect the viewing area of the LCD.
3. A portion of the painted symbols for the shooting mode and timer to the left of the Set Button was removed while taking off the adhesive along the perimeter of the LCD.
4. The bottom right corner of the LCD shows a small blemish that is only apparent when the LCD is not on. When the LCD is lit, this blemish is not apparent. The LCD has a few, very, very light scratches that are practically indiscernible and have absolutely no detrimental effect when viewing information, photos and video on the LCD.
The body is totally functional, and has not had any issues since I first bought it new. The shutter actuation count as of this ad posting is 41,959. The generally agreed upon shutter life for the T2i is 100,000 actuations, so this baby has a long way to go!
The Tamron zoom is in near perfect cosmetic and function condition.
The Canon zoom is in nearly mint condition.
The 1.4 tele-converter is in mint condition, as it was hardly used.
Why am I selling this loaded kit for such a low price? I recently bought a Canon 70D, and I already have a Rebel T4i as a backup. Also, I recently got a Sigma 50-500 mm super-telephoto, which makes my Tamron redundant, and also makes having a 1.4x tele-converter unnecessary. Compare my kit price with the T2i body, the Tamron 70-300 mm, and the Tamron tele-converter, when priced separately on eBay. This is a GREAT bargain, not even including all the extras that are part of this kit. This would make a terrific gift for a budding photographer, or a tremendous backup for an existing Rebel system.
