From iPhone 5s through PhotoShop--C&C on how it seems to work

This photo was taken on my iPhone 5s, and then de-noised via Topaz, sharpened and value-adjusted in Photoshop. I wonder (1) how it works in general, and (2) how close to "professional" this workflow can get (at 8x10 in.)

Well, I can't comment much either way, cause I'm still new at all this. I will say though that I've got a friend who is a professional photographer with her "big girl camera" as she refers to her Nikon...but the last few years, she has really focused on shooting with her iphone. She does some amazing stuff with the apps available, lots of artsy stuff, and has sold quite a few! Many have been on display in the capital building (Richmond, VA). Keep at it!
