On the way home from work yesterday and saw this spectacular Bird. I missed the shot where he was flying right at me, but these two turned out great.

Super. Both shots are very sharp and very nice. I like the vignette effect in the second one. Got a spare frame? That is where the photo belongs.

Really great pictures. Were you near one of the Kansas reservoirs or was the Osprey fishing the farm ponds?
What lens and camera were you using? I haven't been able to get that close to the Osprey or Eagles in Kansas or Missouri but I will keep trying. My goal is to get some pictures as good as
yours.

Thank You!! It was near a large farm pond about 12 Mi. S.W. of Eureka. Ks. I used a Nikon D5100 with a 55 -300mm1:4.5-5.6GED. I've only seen one other Osprey in Kansas and I missed the shot, so I was ecstatic when I saw this one, and even more ecstatic when I saw how good they turned out.
