Photos with my new lens.

I just purchased a Tamron 70-300mm f4-5.6, and I had to try it out. So I went to my local park and took a few shots. I wish I would have had my tripod.
little critters were trying to get away from me!
15 minutes later, this guy showed up
I scared them.
Nice shots, I have that lens and it's one of most used lens ( it also works with my Sigma 2x teleconverter for my Sigma150-500mm) its not to heavy to hand hold or carry for long periods of time.
Congrats on your new lens and I think you will be happy with it while you save up for the Bigma, the 18-270mm Tamron is also a good light weight all around lens as its not quite as bulky as the 70-300mm but has almost the same reach and the added benifit of good for close ups.
I carry the 70-300mm on the camera, the 18-270mm, 50mm nikon, and the sig 2x tc in my lowepro backpack and a wired shutter release plus spare battery, the big Sig has its on carry bag ( which I often take in the car just in case).

Thank you for the nice comment. I'm still learning about my camera. It's getting easier each time I go out. Again, Thank you.

I'm wondering about that second image. Looking at the larger resolution version, the bird seems to have been added to the water and it's feathers are completely blown out of contrast, not to mention the reflection on the water being impossible!

Good eye John! I copied the duck and fliped it over. I thought it would had something to the print. If you noticed it, I didn't do a very good job. Hopefully, I'll get better at it.
Thank you for your comments, John :)
