Help LR 4/5 catalog-missing photos

I upgraded from LR4 to LR5. I thought I had upgraded my catalog when I upgraded, well I put in about 3,000 pictures I took from a trip to Ireland in LR5 library. I wanted to add some folders to add some 2012 photo folders in my catalog (on main computer) and was asked to upgrade catalog to LR5 (it wasn't there) so I did it and now all the Ireland pictures are not in LR5. Can I get them back,HELP!!

You probably now have 2 catalogues - search computer for lrcat and see what pops up,

Thanks searcher, found them, now how do I keep them as my main catalog in LR. I had a bunch of cat 4's and a couple of 5's when I searched my computer.

What you could do is File > Import from another catalogue
and this will merge everything into one.
If you would prefer to use the "found" one as the default, I'll have to look it up.

I think I'm good, I'll backup this file daily instead of weekly so I can relaunch if need be, 'll post a few later on,and Thanks Again :!: :!:
