I need flash which will work with Nikon D5100 and Nikon D200 and I Found this models under $150
Bower SFD926N
Yongnuo YN-560 III

Does anyone have any other suggestion under $150 and does anyone have experience with one of these models?

Will both of them work auto with the camera or they need manual settings?

Thanks

Yongnuo YN-565 or a Used SB600.

Both will work in and out of manual modes for flash work.

Is it going to communicate with the camera in order to adjust the settings? I saw it's review it is very good, but it says only M mode, which I presume is manual or I understood wrong?

I have 2 Nikon SB24 flashes which I got in the 1980s for use with my film camera. TTL doesn't work with a DSLR but auto and manual work fine. These are great especially for well under $100. You can get them (only used available) on ebay and Amazon:

I have SB-24 in excellent condition and I find it time consuming for shooting events with lot of movement and people.
I need a flash that will communicate with the camera.
I just found review for Yongnuo 565. They say it is TTL compatible with Nikon. Any thoughts about this model?

Is the flash you want, not the 560III.

Thanks Musket, ... I am so tired and confused from browsing through the WEB that I didn't noticed that you suggested 565 instead 560.
My apologies and thank you. I like this one too.
Used SB600 is more expensive from what I can find online so far

It can be hard to find a SB600 for about 150. One can be lucky though. www.keh.com or Adorama or B&H all retail used gear with pretty good ratings.

The problem is that they charge a lot for shipping to Canada unlike Amazon. I found new ***565 on Amazon with free shipping for $130

Ahh your in Canada. Totally get it off amazon then for that type of a deal. Its a steal.

I dislike shipping gear I sell to canada. Its not that its really expensive, it that it takes like 17 weeks to get through customs.

I have never waited more than 2 weeks for anything from the states (and I have bought a lot!), but shipping cost and recently introduced "customs provided" option on eBay (which is RIDICULOUS and I just skip such item) makes everything more expensive.

Personally I would prefer a used Nikon over a new generic brand. Better build . . . more reliable.

I use weekly, a Nikon SB-600 purchased as a refurb for US$200. Such deals are hard to find. If I were again in the market, I would strongly consider the Yongnuo YN-565 III: http://speedlights.net/2011/08/28/yongnuo-yn-565-ex-flash-review

Several macro-photographers successfully use Yongnuo YN-565 III speedlights on the True Macro-Photography Forum:

You are not the first to ask about speedlight alternatives. Here is an earlier thread that covers a few speedlight options:
