Wondering if anyone can help me resolve this poor image? I'm really looking to better understand the antlers on this buck. It's just so horribly noisy and I struggle to be able to improve it. I'm wondering even if converting it to a "negative" may help?

I'd highly appreciate some help understanding what this buck actually was. Thank you in advance for the help! I know this is child's play for many on here.

Many thanks!

DB

It's a white tail buck. It appears to be about a four pointer (four on each side) an eight pointer in some areas.

Yeah - I was hoping someone may be able to enlarge and clarify it. I'm not looking for a super photograph, I'm just trying to better understand his exact antlers. May not be possible - again, the image is horrible I know!!

Thanks all.

Hi DB, the shot is not really noisy but it is fairly low resolution and it's tricky to play with. I sharpened it up a bit and played with the sliders to improve the contrast between highlights and shadows.
Do you want me to post the image that came up with? I never know whether it's the right thing to do or not

:)

Yes - let me do that first thing once home later today. This image has been posted to the net, so it's even more watered-down! Sorry for not posting the hi-res; though I warn, it's lousy.

Thanks.

That definitely is better. I'll post a higher-res photo later this evening. Any chance you can zoom in on the antlers? I'm trying to assess the buck.

Thanks.

Not really DB any more enlargement just results in a very pixelated image that looks horrid!

Post a hi-res shot and we might be able to help.

Going to be a real problem zooming in on a picture with only 145kb in size, you will probly have 45kb or less when zoomed in.
Not a good situation to try to assess.

Unfortunately the image simply isn't good enough to get a clear view.

If you zoom in on a low res photo like this one you it doesnt help, nothing there to expand.
