I have been on the lookout for Q pictures ever since I said I would host! I think it will be fun and interesting to see the variety that will be posted in the next few days.
The first picture I am posting is of a statue on the State Capitol building in St Paul. It is called Quadriga. The pictures were taken from the ground looking up. The Quadriga consist of 4 horses pulling a chariot. The 4 horses represent earth, air, fire and water. There are two women on either side representing industry and agriculture. The male charioteer represents prosperity. He holds a standard inscribed with MINNESOTA. The whole statue is covered in gold leaf.
The second picture was quite an accidental find this weekend. My husband and I went to a play at the Old Log Theater. Of course there was strict rules about taking photo's during the play, but I happen to notice that they had a portrait of each of the actresses outside and I was happy to see Quinn!! She did an excellent job in the play and we had a delightful time.
The last picture was taken near where I took the computer for repair. It was Saturday morning and we had Quite the time finding a place to park. As we walked the block or so to bring the computer to the shop the air was filled with a delicious smelling odor and we Quickly figured out why parking was at a premium! So after taking care of business we decided to stop in the "Copper Dome" for breakfast. I knew as soon as we went in the door that we would be in for a different type of treat. There was a sign on the door that just shocked us. It said: We do not take plastic, debit or credit. We take cash or your personal check. Then when we got in the walls were decorated with framed flour sacks from the early 1900. It was a history lesson as some of the mills were mills I never had heard of. And there among the history was an old box of Quick Cream of Wheat!
I will do my best to add more Q pictures and to comment. I am so looking forward to the variety that I know will materialize in the next few days.

My only Q so far.
I love UHH, I learn so much! I had to look up Quahog and now that I know what it is, I know I would love to eat it! You have to understand I grew up in Central Iowa with no water anywhere around!!
Nice pictures of an edible marine bivalve mollusk! Thanks for posting so quickly!
Hi Anna, all I have so far are a few Quackers:
Really hard letter to get things that start with Q. But here are a few! The quilts were from a Quilt Show I went to in Lewiston Maine. The Quarter Horse is a very rare find! Not many of them around!

The trio of Quackers look like they are all Quacked out! The second Quacker must still be developing full color, I like the reflection. Nice pictures Photophile! Thanks for posting your Quackers.
The first "Q" for me. Sorry about that!
Quickly now, stop at QuikMart so we can Quaff a Quart of Quisenberries before going to Quincy to Quality for the BBQ.

Littlebiddle, I love your little Quail. One of our state parks offers a blind for photographers that always wanted to reserve to get some pictures of Quail. Maybe after I retire!
The flag Quilt with buttons for stars is a really neat idea. It is hard to pick a favorite as there are so many beautiful quilts. I can't imagine the effort that went into that star Quilt with rows of flying geese going around the star. I tried doing a few of them in a straight row and found it Quite the challenge.
Thank you for sharing your visit to the Quilt Show.
I do not know what to say about your Quarter horse. It takes the cake!

You may have had only one Q picture, but you sure got a lot of Q's in the description.
I just realized I got cheated here in Minnesota -- they call it Kwik Trip here so I cannot get a Q picture out of it.
Thanks for posting.

Sounds like a fun experience and think of all the Qs you would have missed if the computer had been working and you hadn't gone for repair! Great start, annacaddy and thanks for accepting the Q challenge.

You are so right, I would not have been as observant. I drive by the Capitol everyday for work so I just stopped on Friday and took another picture. Thanks for your encouragement, you are a wonderful person.
