Those ideas would probably sell big in Hollywood.
Imagine: Godzilla vs. Nikon, the attack of the Canons,
the day photography stood still.....endless possibilities!

Great vid. I think the shooters are would be or paint ball, or air soft folks for sure. I like to have the dollar value of all the equipment, Canon or Nikon to invest in my lens fund. The same story, Chevy or Ford, Smith & Wesson or Colt, PC vs Mac...........

Those cameras require a class III firearms license, probably not possible since there aren't anymore class III's being approved.

At my project studio, we are currently working on the special effects for a serious DSLR feature film shot in Texas. A bit over 100 minutes. The film was also edited here. Much cheaper to do muzzle flashes, bullet hits and blood effects with After Effects. Tracking of the actors is based on key contrast points on the given actor's outfit. The net effect is perfect.

The film was shot with a Canon DSLR at 24p.

As a result, I am planning a Nikon DSLR shot horror film.... The quality of DSLR shooting surpasses much of the independent film equipment of the past, such as 16mm film. I don't know what I am going to do with the half dozen 16mm movie cameras I have. One, however may prove useful. DSLRs cannot shoot 24,000p. I have a 16mm Hycam which does. The only hassle is: DSLRs of ANY variety use compression in their video... not good for green screen.
