I agree, zero is also a digit, which then makes the word 'mistake' used incorrectly, since there is more than one mistake. Now I'm wondering if I made any mistakes when writing this.

Not when you are counting. Count a dozen eggs. Did you start with a zero? for all practical purposes it is a place holder, or marker. In this case There would be no reason to designate a zero for the color before red. which would be invisible to our eyes. Start with the first (#1) color which is red in this sequence which is what was done. It is not a mistake. Anyone can nitpick this farther, but they will still start counting at # 1.when they count something.

Zero is there,it is before the one,only it is white and cannot be seen.

We are not counting and the zero is always implied when you count eggs because you start from nothing = 0. I know that zero is an Arab concept but to deny it's existence is rather strange.
Why a zero? because there was -1 then +1 so the Arabs, smarter than anyone else decided that there was something in between, an equilibrium and they came out with ZERO.
So, in carton of eggs ZERO, 1, 2, 3, etc...
Same as if you already have one egg 2, 3, 4, 5.... You do not say one because you see it.

LMAO could be but then there is a 'formatting' mistake (I checked before you made that comment). The series is not centered correctly if there is a white zero...

All the digits (0-9) are place holders. When we count we are starting with nothing (zero) and then we keep on adding one more.

For some reason,math equations just can't seem to work without that silly little zero getting in the way all the time.1-9 need to start again somehow,how would we ever reach 10 without it ?

Natural Numbers:
"Natural Numbers" can mean either "Counting Numbers" {1, 2, 3, ...}, or "Whole Numbers" {0, 1, 2, 3, ...}, depending on the subject.
