The last leg of my trip took me to Eilean Donan Castle. I was wanting high tide and sunset but as there was 2 hours between these, I was just out of luck.

I hope you all get the chance to visit here some day as I'm sure you will be mesmerised by this view also.

Gorgeous shots...all of them! I was there in early 80's and fell madly in love - w/Scotland! I would live there in a heartbeat and choose Skye - the scenery is simply awesome and we were welcomed everywhere with lovely hospitality. Another trip in '90 got me as far as Fordyce and afterwards a climb up the Cairngorm, so I've got one munro under my belt...which I realize is nothing!

Every trip I've made to Scotland, I always drop by the castle. First time I got there, they were filming Highlander the movie. Love that country.
