It's THAT Season

Hubby and I are building a super-duper deer stand. It's been 2 years in the making. We use reused lumber, where ever we can find it. It's going to get some 'tin' on the roof tomorrow. But that's not the best thing..
This is the added bonus .... actually getting to see some wildlife. They aren't that sharp, no PP, just cropped, all hand held.. I was excited too!

Sometimes the enjoyment of seeing the wildlife outweighs the need to get a clear, totally focused photo. Enjoy yourselfs!!!

If I had been there and seen the deer that close my heart would be beating so fast and loud it would scare the animals away. Great shots. I heard the more you see them, the calmer you get. I've been hunting with a rifle and a camera since I was twelve and I still get very excited.

Actually, it's the first year we've seen so many on our land during the day. We actually might see a few to take a shot at this year.
Season starts in two weeks. We are hoping they'll be around at that time. LOL
