Thanks for another beautiful rose. The Bob Seger tune was great too.
Excellent Shot.
I have been trying for a while now to have a photo with black background. No luck so far. I went to Hobby Lobby and picked up a black felt board and used it. It turned out to be a blue background. Do you do it with p/p or a camera setting?

Thanks, everyone. I use black velvet. :) I've tried all the other stuff out there (foam core, poster board, felt, muslin, one of my wife's dresses, etc), but black velvet is the ONLY thing that gives me the nice rich black that I desire.
I really like this Gary.

Gary, love the light coming from the back, hope that is right? Beautiful rose and well done.

Thanks so much! That is correct. I used a slave flash behind and below the rose. It was triggered by my camera in wired mode.
Very pretty. I like how you did the lighting on this.
That's phenomenal. Really impressive.
Eye-catching at every level. Fantastic lighting and color. Great work on this one.

Thanks, y'all! :) Amazing what a little $5 slave flash can do with an image, ain't it? :D
You keep making these roses just look better and better. :)
