Interesting link. I don't have an example at 100 but here is one at 200.
ISO 200 70mm 2.8 125th sec
I read that a growing number of artists are forbidding cameras, especially camera phones, from their concerts because they feel the audience is more concerned with capturing the event on camera than they are capturing it in their memories. According to the artists, the audience is simply more engaged with their phones than they are with them. I can see where that may be the case.

I agree with you. Kids today are more interested in posting their captures on Facebook than actually enjoying the show.
My wife and I don't go to concerts anymore because of the amount of chatter that goes on within the audience. This is especially true when going to the local big Jazz Fest. The Festival committee brings in "big name" bands, charge $75.00 or more for a ticket, and you cannot hear the band because of the rude people all around you talking, screaming, yelling and making conversation with other people. The venue takes all sorts of preventive care to search you for any type of recording device, I suspect this is the reason for the anti phone actions. I can't imagine any recording made at one of these concerts being clear enough to reproduce, other than a simple photograph.

My wife and I don't go to concerts anymore because... (
show quote)
I don't like crowds of any sort and standing in lines so I don't go to these big concerts or other outside gatherings like football games. I can watch it in comfort from my living room at a fraction of the cost and much more personal comfort. I sometimes catch a big name star like Willie Nelson in a more intimate club setting.
