A Landscape picture which I rarely do. Taken at a lake near Coopers Rock National forest in WV.

Equipment
Camera Canon 5D MKIII
Lens Canon 16-35 2.8L at F16
Taken from A RRS Tripod with a BH55 Ballhead

Taken during the Golden hour.

The quality has been reduced a bit for viewing, however I did select Store Original.

Comments welcome. I hope you like it.

The hour was definitely golden. It is one of those unique pictures that only happen once in awhile. It is beautiful.

I do. You captured the serenity of the pond well. I would have cloned out the green (person?) and left the others. The original image must be stunning.

Thanks for commenting Swede,
I was wondering when I took this shot had an image ever been captured on this lake in a similar manner. I wanted to get some of the weeds in lake but no ground. I was surrounded by mud but standing on a small rock. Tripod base was in the water and mud.
The picture here was un cropped.

I like the symmetry, and of course the colours. We, on the west coast, don't have the autumn colors to the extent that you have in east.
Your shot was the first image I saw today, and a great way for me to start the day.
Did you post-process the image? If so, would you please share it with us?
Thanks for the upload.

Very good point about the Green chair maybe remove the red cooler to far camera right as well.
Thanks Bozsik.

Thanks David,
My original images are in RAW format so I don't share them.
They are unprocessed and unattractive.

I guess your talking about the chair and the cooler. Yep I will remove them before print. The others shoreline images are people fishing. The stuff at the very bottom of the image is grass growing out of the water.

Thanks for commenting Raymond!

Your welcome.
I always share my settings if someone ask. I usually forget to include them. In this case I even included my equipment. Not that it matters to much.

The chair and cooler don't bother me. They are so small it's almost like a "Where's Waldo?" moment when you find them. It confirms that the people are fishermen and adds life to the photo's story. Lovely photo, by the way. Great still reflection.

If you are going to print it and do some editing, I would suggest leveling it up--there is about a 1 degree slope down from left to right. It is very minor distraction, but I caught it and not the others that you are working with.

A pretty shot, beautiful color and quite serene. I see no issue with the people in the shot and wouldn't bother to clone them out, unless you want to show unspoiled nature. They actually add a little interest to the scene.

And yes, missing a couple of Fondas, one of whom I wouldn't mind seeing at the bottom of the lake, if you'll pardon my French.

LOL about the Fonda. I wasn't very Fonda of the Fonda either.
