I took this at a nearby hill in Leavenworth, it is at 200mm. Here's the thing, I really like it, and I want to know why. I know that sounds silly, this appeals to me on a level that I cant explain, so I am asking for a possible explanation. Outright it doesn't seem like much, but maybe it hits me on a "memory" level. Anyway, please tell me your thoughts on it.

Not sure what the deal is either. I guess you had to be there.

it does have a certain dream-like feel to it, a touch of snow, the trees marching off into the mist... maybe it reminds you of someplace you saw as a kid, or perhaps a scene from a movie that you like.. could be almost anything...

Agreed, maybe this is just one left to my own self indulgence. Well thank you all for your time, and comments.

Interesting image, rolling hills, great interest there, the lines of the forest, another winner, add the fog and it has all the qualities that are required for a nice shot.
Were it my shot I might tweek the contrast, or knowing me try an orton effect process on it.
That said this image stands on its own as an interesting image.

Just went for the orton effect on Picnik, and I love the results, great idea.

View in large to get the whole scope of it.
