DannyBoy, did you make it this way on purpose? If your intention is an artistic shot, you might want to take it further and do more to it so that it looks like a painting. Right now I really like the colors and composition and the red light spots are cool too...but I find myself wanting something more from it. Might be worth some experimentation!

I get it. You seem to be looking for an atmospheric feeling to this photo and the soft focus does that to a degree. I think, however, that this well composed image would be just as artistic and give an atmospheric feeling even if it were sharp. All things being equal, I would like to see it sharp with enough dof to have foreground and background sharp. Just my two cents.
