That is tooooo cool!
I wonder how far he would of chased them, if the driver had not sped up.
Very nice and brings back memories of my journey up there in '97 on an R11GS. Wish I would of been into picture taking back then. Sigh!

I think most of us have had instances of wishing or, if i had just had..
myself included.
It was a nice video of the elk.
Never ran into any thing like this when I took a trip south and then up thru the western , then across the northern states on my bike with a buddy on his back in the 70's . I'm sure it would of scared me as much as it did her . Thanks for sharing
Thanks for posting; he may have been trying to get a better look at the young lady.
Guess he didn't like Harleys.
Reminds me of the time I was riding my motorcycle on one of the residential streets downtown years ago. As I was riding along minding my own business, this large dog came running out between two houses and started chasing me down the street. Maintained my speed enough to keep ahead of him but not get too far away. After about a block he stopped in the middle of the street, staring at me with tongue hanging out, panting like crazy. When I saw that he had stopped, I made a U-turn in the street and stopped about a hundred feet away, facing him. Gave the throttle a couple quick twists, vroom vroom, then released the clutch and started towards him. When he saw me coming at him he quickly retracted his tongue and got this incredulous look on his face with an expression that seemed to be saying, "what the . . . THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!!". He made a quick 180 and went charging down the street back to where he came from with me on his tail, closing the gap. Half-way down the block he got off the street and started running down the sidewalk. At a driveway, I also got on the sidewalk, closing in behind him. Just as I was about to reach him (didn't know what I was going to do if I had caught up) he veered off to the left and back up the driveway that he had originally come from. After a little chuckle I continued on my way. Good times, good times.

Thanks. Fun to watch.
I always stop with lots of margin around animals. Bison in Yellowstone come to mind, those things blocking the road are really intimidating.

i have not checked so i hope no one else has posted this as of yet.
I just wonder what that Moose was thinking when he charged and ran after the motorcycle.

  He must have been riding a Harley. Did you see the dog running after the elk?
Thanks for sharing.
It almost seems like the elk was more interested in something in your pack. His running seems rather leisurely, more than a raging run. He may have smelled something good in your packs. He looks kind of run down on his luck!
