I used a d3200 with 300 mm lense with 2x teleconverter but didn't really look has good . The point and shoot really did a better job. I need to use this camera more

Did you use digital zoom on this shot?

I thought so. Your MetaData said your lens was 2000 mm. You will find that digital zoom will degrade your pictures.

I have this camera and also got a good moon shot. I don't use digital zoom however. I also have a dslr but find myself using this camera much of the time. Nice moon shot by the way.
