Very nice! However (this is just me, so don't take offense!), the ring-light reflection in the eyes is freaking me out!

Yeah, it drives me crazy too. I might play and learn to use another flash over the winter.
Perhaps I'm the oddball, correction I am but for different reasons. Personally the ring catch lights bother me no less than rectangular reflections. Neither really belong there but it's the compromise made when using flash. I really like ring catch-lights when the reflections are centered in jumpers eyes.
CC before you rig up another flash take a look at this cheapo modification for ring diffusion. I may experiment with it but the whole point of using a ring on my end is to limit the flash footprint on my rig.
