Good morning,
I need some help. I've been unsuccessfully trying to swap a head in a group photo and then trying to put this group onto a new background. I've been using OnOne Software and PS Elements 11 but I'm very frustrated and need to get this done.
I'm going to attach the three images that I believe are labeled well enough that you'll know what needs doing and the backdrop. I'd happy to pay someone to do this for me or would welcome advice. I've been using Kelby's book and have also searched online but nothing I've found has helped me.
Thanks so much for your help in advance. I will not be able to be back until this evening. I'm doing an exhibit at a cow town event. This is day 3 of 3 and it's raining AGAIN! I wouldn't recommend this type of event to any of you but I'm committed so I have to go. Besides, all my stuff is still there! I should be committed! lol
Thanks again to anyone who can help me get this done.
Donna
I understand about the background but whose head needs swapping?
Searcher, I rate your opinion very high, but on this issue you amaze me, amazeing me in the fact that I'm am having the same problem. LOL

Actually, Donna, they're not labeled at all...
However, I took the second photo and the background, here's the result.
Since you are using PSE11, have you tried the Magic Extractor at all? That's what I used to do this.
If the Magic Extractor seems to hold too many secrets for you, let me know and I'll send you some instructions.
If you like, I can mail you the layered .psd file as well, just PM me with an e-mail address to send it to.

Edit: Oops, Donna, I just now saw the "label" in the file name. When you said the images were labeled, I expected to see some text just above the images. Sorry 'bout that.
After Magic Extractor

Even though Donna said she had problems there, the head-swapping, as far as I'm concerned, was done well: The girl on the far right in the brown jacket, and the girl sitting in front with the white pull-over. Just enlarge the photos and compare their faces ;-)

Esther, that is a wonderful job.

Even though you pointed it out, I still find the swap difficult to see - excellent job.
I know you have a talent for getting everything possible from PSE so I wasn't surprised to see your results - just impressed as usual!!!
I give up - I cannot see the joins. Any clues - please?
Hi Esther,
You did a great job with the background except for the table at the bottom left but I think I could get away with not doing eliminating that.
I guess I wasn't clear about the head swap it need. So sorry.
I need to swap out the girl on the right in the brown corduroy jacket with her image in the other photo where there's no glare on her glasses.
Thanks so much. I didn't think I'd be able to access the site from here but voila!

The head of the girl in the white pull-over was swapped: In the first photo she has one eye closed.
But I think Donna also wants the head of the girl on the far right moved from the first photo to the second one.
I'll have a go at that this afternoon, will have to take my grandkids to their other Grandma in a few minutes.

Edit: Donna, you'n'me must have been at the 'puter at the same time writing our messages ;-)
I'll try for the table this afternoon, and also the corduroy girl's head.
Here is my radiation of it. Three photos, the second with some tone balancing. Third one, table gone and girls eye is fixed on left. Note Wink is gone on bottom women.
As presented
some tone balancing
Group3 glare on Glasses and Table gone
OMG, Bill, you totally nailed it! What program(s) did you use? Do you give lessons?? Thank you soooo much! I'll pm you about payment.

Thanks so much for your great effort, Esther, esp considering you didn't completely understand what I needed. I'm assuming you've seen Bill's version. I really appreciate what you did, too.
As I mentioned in my PM. I don't do it for money on UHH. It keeps my hands moving and my mind from getting me in trouble. Just like EsherP does for the joy. She's likel my competion. LOL...
