The hike in was easy, mostly flat , rocky in places but an easy hike, we decided to walk back along the top of the dale, it is much steeper than it looks and the path along the top is really just a sheep trail, but there is a great pub at the end of the dale in Monyash village, definitely worth a visit. Perveril castle next week
