Not there Searcher. As I stated, before the 5.2 upgrade, the badges (icons) still appear on the photos that were put in a collection. Now the only way the badge will appear is if the photo is in a quick collection. As soon as you clear the quick collection, the badge disappears.

Update:
I guess it was just a problem with that one batch of photos. Added recent photos that I took to a collection and all is well.
