What I captured on my way back from the mailbox

I had gone out to get the mail and sitting a broken reflector was this dragonfly, so I asked it to wait while I went into the house to get my camera and it did. I have seen them flying about the yard but never caught one sitting, not exactly still either. Hope you like them

CJartist, how awesome, that looks like one of those plastic ones that light at night from solar power it is so crystal clear. Love the detail. Where is Ormond Beach?

This is a beautiful dragonfly. I've never seen one quite like it. You did a great job of catching a small, moving insect.
Love the "saddlebags". Love the photos.

Nice when the bugs listen to you. Maybe you could train my cat. Nice capture. The download is great. :thumbup:

Thank you riverlass for looking and commenting. I had never seen one lite before such as this one, these grow up to 2". They just fly all over the yard eating mosquitos
