Nice work.
If you had a '58, it had a 26hp engine. I spent ten years as VW mechanic, from 69 to 79. That 26hp engine used to power the Zamboni machines.
have plenty but have to sort thru computer to find.at 84 my computer skills are like my self OLd.

Looks you did a hell of a nice job, especially the electrics. Is that a 73 Super Beetle?
Love the color and the over sized tires...what did you do to the engine?
Is that the voltage regulator on lower right?
You need some pretty wheels or at least some hubcaps !

You've done a great job. Should be very proud.
Looks awesome! Much nicer than the old rusty bug I shot this weekend......
Great Job! Show us some more pics. If you ever get it to the Tampa are. Would sure like to see it.
Great restoration khh! I had a series of VWs in the 1960s-70s and loved each and every one of them. Have sworn that, some day before I shuffle off this stage I'm going to have another one and just drive it for the sheer joy again.
I had 4 of them - 2 1969s and 2 1971s back in the mid '70s. Love them!!! Made a motorized baby buggy out of one and used to put it in auto shows. Never won anything but people sure got a kick out of it. The stories I could tell from all the fun I used to have with them.
