No shootin' today. Maybe that is the problem!! As much joy as the holidays can be, sometimes they can be very sad. Even though it has been 30 years since my 8 year old son passed, there are days that are just bad. But you brought out the joy today and for that I thank you.

I was messing with you about "shots fired". That was kinda funny to me and Im pretty sure they were just warning up in the air.
When I retired at 53 after 25+ years of service to NJ dept of human services, dept of corrections and dept of ed, my colleagues kept asking "what are you going to do?" I hated saying I DK..so I thought about it real hard. What I came up with was FIND JOY and after a while I added AND IF I HAVE ENOUGH ENERGY BRING JOY TO OTHERS.

btw...my inlaws always had brindle boxers...you got a cute dog.
