OK, time for the "bash adobe cloud" crowd to grab the pitchforks and torches.

I'm not bashing them. I am an excited, enthusiastic customer that loves three of their products.

The links are to current news.

2.9 million people need to change their passwords.

You are welcome.

I never thought that password management would become an essential part of daily life!

Bill, thanks for the update and link to the Adobe blog. I am assuming this pertains more to the CC users rather than just the registered product users.

As far as daily password management, I have to log into several networks for work on a daily basis and sadly, daily password management has been with me for several years now.

It applies to everybody. Perhaps it may be more important for buyers of books, software or upgrades. I recently gave Adobe a credit card number for a Lightroom upgrade.

Perhaps useful knowledge is that credit cards are relatively safe. If stolen, under Federal Law, the card company and bank have to cover the theft. If a debit card is stolen, it is only bank policy that covers you. Personal experience has verified this!

I got an email from Adobe this morning advising me to change my password. When I tried to log in with my old password I got a message that the password must be changed. I did so....no problem. Takes a couple of minutes.
