"Tebow is proof that God goes comfortably into whatever arena of your life you wish to take him. "
Well, I find this whole discussion refreshing, hope inspiring, and pertinent in today's anti-christian political climate.
Thank You all
Where did the term "Tebowing" come from? Not where you thought ..
"Tebowing" is the brainchild of Jared Kleinstein, 24, a real-estate marketer in New York City who was raised in Denver, where he grew into a devoted sports fan. Mr. Kleinstein, who is Jewish, just wanted to pay tribute to the inspirational quarterback of his favorite team. He launched Tebowing.com from Manhattan in October, on the night after Mr. Tebow led the Broncos to victory over the Miami Dolphins.
"We were at a bar watching the game," he says, "and when he came back to win, everybody was cheering like we won the Super Bowl, even though we had just beat the last-place team in the league." Mr. Kleinstein noticed that as the Bronco players were jumping up and down on the sidelines, Mr. Tebow took a knee in prayer. He snapped a picture of himself and his friends doing the same, called it "Tebowing," then created the site and sent it to eight people."

Even Muslims and Atheists are fans:
"Tebow's appeal stretches beyond Denver's Jewish population. Khaled Hamideh, the board's chairman at the Colorado Muslim Society, counts himself as a Tebow fan mostly because of the quarterback's winning pedigree.
"I know I'm a Muslim and he's a Christian, but I admire somebody who thanks God for everything that he gave him," Hamideh said. "The team has rallied around him not because of his religious beliefs but because they believe this guy has something in him that pushes him the right way."
A prominent area atheist also declared Tebow's displays fine by him. Boulder Atheists co-founder Marvin Straus does not follow sports closely. Still, he estimated that he has seen Tebow kneel "4,823 times" without objecting.
"From my perspective, it's about as useful as an amulet during the Black Plague. But if I have the right to stand up in public and say there's no gods or devils or heaven or hell, he has the right to kneel in public, as long as he doesn't insist that other people join him," Straus said. "Somebody that's on a private team wants to express his religious belief? To me, that's called freedom of religion."

Maybe more football players should Give God the glory after a
great play instead of dancing around the field like a peacock.
God is the one who gives them the strength and talents to perform those plays, why not just give Him the credit?

Why doesen't "TEBOW" praise God after a loss?
Actually he does. He does not thank or praise God for victories, he praises God for the talent and gifts that he believes God has given him.
Turns out many scientists hate the term "God Particle."
So, where did the term come from? Check this explanation:
"Much of the media coverage of the announcement included the term "God particle," which originated in the title of a 1994 book by Nobel-winning physicist Leon Lederman. The story goes that Lederman originally wanted to name the tome "The Goddamn Particle" because of how difficult it was to detect, but was persuaded by his publisher, Delta, to shorten it.
"It's a pity that Leon Lederman, otherwise a nice enough fellow, chose to go ahead with this moniker at the advice of his publishing agents to sell more books," Sharma said.
"However, ever since the book came out, the Higgs boson hasn't been able to escape the nickname, at least in popular discourse."
"I feel the term 'God particle,' invented by a publisher to sell books and make money, insultingly misrepresents both science and religion," Rutgers University physicist Matt Strassler wrote in an email."

Sorry about that last post ... I put it in the wrong thread. Whoops!
-----------
Whoops is what the Broncos were saying yesterday. Not such a good game for Tebow or the rest of the team. They dropped the ball a lot. But, let's wait and see how their entire season turns out, in comparison to other teams.
live and let live is what i say as long as you can do it without hurting anyone.
I'll take him over dog killing trash or a rapist anyday.
