I am never quite sure when a photo is a macro or just a close up, but I enjoy seeing these creatures larger than life.

Garden spider, love the markings
I waited for him to turn towards me

Good captures but I think they are close ups and not macro. True macro is 1:1.

Thanks and I agree with you. I took them on the Macro and super macro settings on my Fuji HS50 and X10. ( not the grey squirell). I wish the camera manufacurers would not claim their lens are macro, it is quite confusing.
