Just wondering how everyone likes there Canon T5i. And do did you get the 18-135 is or the stm lens. I plan on taking more pictures then video, but it is nice to know that I can take video. Also how do you like it in low light? I'm talking about indoors in the evening and maybe some moon shots. I am really leaning towards this camera only because it does have like the portrait, landscaping and ect and also the creative zone. Which is something that I really should get to know. I have the Canon Rebel XT so I know this will be a better improvement to what I have.

My son just upgraded from his XT, I think it's an Xt to the T5i, loves it, has the 18-135 and loves it also, I upgraded my T1i to the T4i, love it,

Thanks Bob it's good to hear that. I think I keep reading to much and I keep seeing people say to get the 70d but it's a little out of my price line at this moment.

The Rebel series is excellent. I have the T3i which I love. I just bought the 70D so I'd have two good bodies. My favourite lens is the 18-135. I rarely take it off the camera.

I have the EF-S 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS lens.

I bought a rectangular led light on amazon to use with my t5i. It works great for low light. I also bought a shotgun microphone to use. The built in mic isn't that sensitive. Just do a search on amazon for them.
Here are the makes/model numbers:
Neewer 160 LED CN-160 dimmable led light
Neewer SG-108 stereo shotgun microphone.
I think I paid around $40.00 for both.
