It's interesting how people have different feelings concerning the photo. I see a certain sadness in the image, as if the two are attempting to deal with bad news or a difficult decision they are about to make or have made. The males face looks (to me) to exhibit a mixture of love and melancholy. 8-)

One can only surmise what is happening..to me its like she is pleading with or telling him..and he knows deep down that what she is saying is right. It really is an evocative photo.
