It is a bargain for Topaz Adjust. I have used it for about three years and love it.

Is there a big learning curve to master it.

If you master Photo Shop, then it won't be that difficult. Just take one suite at time. In a month you'll have it down pretty gooderest. The hole thing, it's not that difficult.

Not at all; it is very intuitive, and you will be up and running with it quickly. The hardest part will be choosing which of the many variations possible you will want to apply to your photo.

I have and use all of the Topaz plugin filters. Adjust 5 is their flagship set of filters. Start by using the supplied presets. Then learn to fine tune presets with the supplied adjustment sliders.

Their latest offering "ReStyle" is great fun.

The entire Topaz suite is terrific. I've used it for the past year, and there isn't much you can't do with it.

I just attended a Topaz B&W seminar, I'm amazed at the power of these plug-ins. I've purchased both the B&W and Adjust 5 modules. I highly recommend both.

I've found that the effects one can create with any plug-in, add-on, etc. can be accomplished in photoshop with a bit of time and energy invested. So, it's your choice. Topaz or NIK are both good companies and make reasonably good products. However, learning how to use the tools provided in PS places more creativity in your hands than resorting to a point and click approach to PP effects. Those applets simply remove you, as the artist, a bit from the creative process.
