Beyond Yellowstone and Back

After leaving the UHH group at Yellowstone, Katherine (plessner) and I went on to the Tetons. On our way home we went up through Yellowstone so we could go on Beartooth Pass one more time. Katherine and I would like to share our adventure after Yellowstone and then back to Yellowstone again.
After giving up all hopes of seeing a moose we saw this one at Schwabacher Ponds at the Tetons. Later we had two more sightings of a cow and calf.
Because we decided to go home on Beartooth Pass we saw a female grizzly eating a bison carcass.
Here are some fall colors coming to the Tetons.

Looks like you made it home OK Mary after you left my house this am. I am having a crazy busy day, but hope to get a chance to look at some of my pics later on. Thanks for starting this page started and keep adding and I will too.

Yes, I made it home safe and sound. I'm so glad we went on to the Tetons after our time with Carter and the other UHH photographers in Yellowstone.
