Can someone tell me which adjustment to my Nikon D90 is causing my pictures to have this orangish color.
I am photographing my collection and I have the camera set on "A" (Apperture).
I haven't used the camera for a while and I'm a bit rusty...
Thanks in advance.

Send the photo again but this time check the (store original) box. We can then download your photo and read the EXIF information for hints about your "problem".

Franku,

It appears the White Balance is set incorrectly. Auto White Balance may get you close, but manually setting the WB is the better choice. On your camera you should have a button for White Balance, this should open a menu selection for selecting the lighting source.

After selecting the lighting source, your camera will make the necessary corrections to get real close to the correct settings. This will give you plenty of room for final touch-up corrections in Post Processing.

It will be interesting to see. I suspect the sensor...

Interesting dagger. The eagle makes me think of Napoleon era...

White balance set to shade*. This (WB) is not the cause. Shade should be on the cold side.

Looks like white Balance was my problem.
It was set for shade and when I set it on AUTO the pix came out as I had hoped.
Thanks loads to all of you!

RONGNONGNO;
The dagger is a WWII German Officers Naval Dagger.
You can tell if you magnify the eagle hilt.
Thanks for responding.

This may be a white balance problem. I remember taking a picture of my kids with a red background and it messed up there skin color. Data posted below. David

Change the sRGB to Adobe RGB you get a wider range of capture

It is a color problem which can not be explained easily here. It is the color temperature of the light you are using. You have camera setting for that. Read you manual.

If you can re-shoot it, add a gray card to correct the color.
