Can anyone suggest an automatic backup software package so that each time I save a photo on my C drive it copies it to my backup drive.

Don't know if this one will do the trick for you, buy you might wish to take a look at AOMEI Backupper. It's a FREE program, and can be found here..................

I use it myself - and find it pretty good!

All the best.

Sorry I meant to attach the pricing. Use the Crashplan Family Unlimited. It works out to about $8.96 per month for the four years. How much is your data worth to you?

Keep in mind if you have a lot of pictures it may take a while to complete the first backup (I have over 1TB on one computer to backup).

I use Allway Sync Pro (allwaysync.com). There is a free version and a Pro Version. They ask you to by the Pro version based on the amount of data you are backing up. I use it to back up my primary photo storage drive to another internal drive and two external drives. I like the flexibility to set up each sync job with its own properties. Mine are all currently set up to run automatically in the background and sync the folders when there are changes in the files. You can also set it up to sync on startup and shutdown. The developed keeps it updated and it has worked without any issues.

I currently use a service called CloudBacko. CloudBacko supports Windows, Linux, Mac, etc. You must also need ease and conveniency in storing your data. It is the fastest, secure and more reasonable from other online IT backup solutions.
