Breath taking shots!! Thank for sharing!! A question tho.:) Why do the birds like a salt marsh? I am thinking there isn't much there to eat. But we don't have them here , so I am just guessing.:) Erv

They like salt marshes Erv because there is STUFF to eat in them, you know, shrimp, crab, a plethora of fish, etc. Mostly though, its because there are GIRL pelicans there. Sheesh.
Its Bolsa Chica Salt Marsh across from Bolsa Chica Beach off PCH. Its just North of Huntington Beach.
Thanks for the tip Reddog. Now, I'm really envious, a perfect day for shooting, a terrific location AND a 400mm lens. It doesn't get much better than that.
On a more serious note, I would welcome arranging to go on a photo shoot with you sometime soon, although I'll make do with a 70-200 L lens. Send me a private note and I'll happily share a phone number. Let's Talk!
Thanks for viewing Erv, It looks like a lot of fish there Erv, its just an inlet from the sea. I saw good size fish and even a small ray today. There are also nesting sites for quite a few sea birds.
