Hello from Central florida
I've always loved photos, but got serious about taking them about 2 1/2 years ago. Since them, I'm having alot of fun discovering new places that I never knew existed, and meeting lots of nice people. Looking forward to getting to know all of you, and being inspired to be a better photographer.

Have fun Gelinda at Merritt Island Refuge, you are sure to find some good ones there. Keep an eye out for the big gator usually sunning near the end of the Black Point road ride. Get some Eagle pictures if you can, never had any luck seeing them while there.
Are you talking about the gator that hangs out in the pond next to the restrooms ? Always a big one there. I haven't seen any eagles there, but last time I was there I saw some rosetta spoonbills, and I have seen bobcats there twice. Was shooting sunrise with wide angle lens when I saw this cat, didn't have time to switch to zoom lens, so it's not the best shot, but I keep trying to find him again.

Gee, Bobcat, wow. I am talking about the Black Point Road, not where the building is for visitors, books, etc. Altho I have been there too, but not for photos. Thanks for the info. Am thinking you might mean the rest rooms that one comes upon the middle of the Black Point road. Ah, trip is now in the planning.
Yes, the restrooms about halfway down the Black Pointe Wildlife Drive, near the hiking trail and lookouts. I see there is now a $5 entrance fee for taking the drive. Might make Orlando Wetlands Park a little more tempting when it reopens Feb. 1st

Yes, I knew that, but if one goes there a lot, it's worth it, plus one can go to other places with that cost too. I usually only get there once a winter, so probably will pay the five dollars, not telling my husband about the fee until we get close to there. <G> Where ever you go sure your photos will be right on. Your good!
