Hi All from far northwest lower Michigan. I have been into photography from 1963, 35mm - 2 1/4 X 2 1/4 - and 5 X 7
sheet film. I just picked up a Pentax Kr. Looks like I will be doing a lot of reading about all the new settings that this thing has. I am open to any info any one has.

Hi John,
Welcome to the Hog! I think the best things about digital is checking my exposure right after taking the picture, and this computer is my darkroom. ;)
Learn how to use the histogram it's most usefull!

Hi John, a view camera man after my own heart, 4x5 and 8x10. Is north west lower Michigan the same as north west south Michigan?

Welcome to UH. I love Michigan and go to the dunes North of Muskegon. I love 35mm and have a Bronica 2 1/4. But, I like digital too. You will find this forum very informative. Cheryl
