I have no plans to commercialize any of them. IS THIS LEGAL? (The pix are not that good.) Alyn
So long as it is for your own use I don't think you will have a problem, bearing in mind we can now record any programme off the TV we want to to replay later. The only caveat to this is that you cannot use what you have done "for profit or making it out to be your own" because you will then be violating the original makers copyright.

No, not illegal. For personal, non-commercial use you can photograph anything you want in your home. (With the the exception of child pornography, but that's an entirely different issue.)
But if it was illegal, would it really matter? Police have far better things to do than to track down and arrest people photographing home appliances, such as their television sets.

you look like a ham radio operator, i had a license, went in hospital and i forgot about it and it expired ....
mine was KB8KLY
Before the availability of VCR I used to take pictures off the TV screen because there are things on TV I wanted to see later.
