Nice shots Banker, second shot (grasshopper peering over the grass blade is well composed). I had the same thought, what does your setup consist of? Details man, we need details......

it's Identical to yours Douglass. D90, Nikon SB-600 speedlight on a Galt L-grip bracket, new soft box same as yours. I believe I was using ISO 200, 1/200-sec at f/16 and flash set to 1/8 power.

meant I used auto focus not manual...flash was manual however
