Great but I wish you would not publish your own picture in this thread as this is not the same subject at all.

If we're being picky, Ron, this post should have been in Photo Gallery, not Main Photography Discussion.
As the Brits would say: sod off.

What? You seem to be willing to tell us exactly what to do on the forums, Ron....you don't like it when it's pointed out when you're not following the rules? Hmmm....Seems like you're willing to dish it out but can't take it.
Jake....It's not that he has control issues....he's got a subscription!!
"Do not post pictures in any of the thread I create unless you are specifically invited to, as an individual or authorized within the topic created."
Don't know why you would waste the ability of a $3000 Camera to post snapshots of someone else's art instead of creating your own. Pretty boring.

Simple questions:
- Were you aware that this field existed?
- Do you think many are aware of it?
- Is not photography a mean to share what you see?
- Is not 'creating art' only a small part of photography as a whole?
- Who told you or let you believe that I am fooling myself into thinking that I am an 'artist'?
Answer all these and you have the answer to your post.

What's that woodpecker aiming at???
1: No, but there are lots of shapshot opportunities out there.
2: No.
3:Yes,but I would rather see an interesting take on a common subject.
4. No, that's what it's all about, unless you want to remain a "point and shooter".
5. No argument there. You're not. But why would you post in the Main Photography section which is open for discussion and then pretend that no one can improve on what you've done?

Do not post pictures in any of the threads I create unless you are specifically invited to, as an individual or authorized within the topic created.
By inference, I guess that opens this subject open to a lot of pictures, including those "borrower" from the Bird Farm site.
