I don't have the program that will help me get this photo back to looking good. I'm not sure what program to get, but I would really like to get this photo fixed. You can see that there are water marks on this, and someone marked it up with a pen as well. Will someone help me with this one please? I thank you for your time and help.

Re-upload using the "store original" so we have the best chance of doing a good job ! :) (Not necessarily me ! ) lol

Scan at 300 dpi grey scale and store original when uploading. Ditto the prior comment.

Here is a quick fix....but much more resolution needed to do the job right. Best to scan in 24 bit color instead of gray scale for more data.

Hi Taffie . One of my jobs is restoring photos . Although I agree with the above comments . I downloaded a copy of the photo you posted and restored it , I also added colored to this photo to show what is possible . I am not allowed to restore photos for free , sorry . But if you would like to see a sample posted here . I can do that , but It will have the word SAMPLE wrote across it in two places along with the copy right symbol . If you prefer , you can send me a Private Message by clicking on my user name and send me your email address and I can send you a sample copy to look at. And you will have the chance to Buy a finished copy without the words Sample , and without copy right on it. It is entirely up to you . You can also wait to see if someone else tries to fix your photo , maybe they can do it for nothing . Tommy

Why don't your re-post that picture making it down loadable by click the store button. It will give use a lot more to work with. Right now it's only a thumb nail...

Here is one more. I'm sure that the person who does it for a job can do a lot better but it was sooo much fun working on this.

Many on here will do it for nothing with varying degrees of success and there will be two or three that will be excellent. We're here on UHH as helping hands for those who need help - not to make profit from each other.

This is why I didn't post my copy . I'm sorry if you think I joined to make money . I pointed out when I joined that one of my jobs is restoring photos , changing black and whites to color , etc. I have already been asked to restore photos , and how much I would charge with out any push from me first. When I saw how much this photo meant to Tiffie , I simply gave her a choice of having a professional restoration done and with color to skin , hair , etc if she so choose to. I also noted to her that maybe she could get a copy that would serve her needs for nothing . That the choice was hers . I only gave her another option . And I offered to send it by email so I wouldn't offend any others who may try to restore her photo. Tiffie , I am sorry if I made you , the person who asked for help , feel pressured in any way . Tommy
