Checking between Alibris, Amazon, Barnes & Noble etc. there are several books specifically on the G15. Anyone have experience with any of the books and if so any specific one to definitely get or avoid?
I have the book by David Busch, and found it thoroughly useful, despite a few small errors. For me, the greatest benefit of the book was something absent from the PDF manual that shipped with the camera, namely, advice on when and how to use various features. When I bought the book, it was the only one available - there were no others that I could find. Incidentally, iy is worthwhile to have the PDF manual printed up (Office Depot did mine for a nominal amount). The G-15 is so sophisticated and complex, that you need the regular manual to work with. The Busch book is simply a necessary supplement to it!

When OD printed your pdf was it just on standard copy paper? One sided or two sided?
LBD415: I had OD print my G15 PDF on both sides of standard copy paper, one half the 8x11 sheet, landscape positioned. I then had it bound with the usual plastic spiral binder so that it would open from bottom to top. I had clear plastic bound on the front, and a stiffener on the back. The total cost was cheaper due to the half sheet size and the double side print - extremely reasonable in fact. Office Max did another one for me last year when OD got up on their high horse about copyright issues. They have since come to their corporate senses.
What other books about the G15 have you discovered in your research?

So far I've found the following:
David Busch's Canon Powershot G15 Guide to Digital Photography by David D. Busch (2012)
Ammonite Press The Expanded Guide for Canon Powershot G15, By David Taylor
PhotoBert Canon PowerShot G15 CheatSheet (laminated, short version instruction manual for Canon G15) by Bert Sirkin (2012)
Canon PowerShot G15 by Jacqueline Esen
And then these two that aren't specific to the G15 but probably would be somewhat useful at least. The last is probably least useful since he has his good book specific to the G15.
Canon PowerShot Digital Field Guide by Michael Guncheon
David Busch's Point-and-Shoot Compact Field Guide by David D. Busch
The book by Jacqueline Esen is in German. It looks to be both comprehensive and good. It is over 300 pages long, and the German Amazon.com shows two favorable (if brief) reviews of it.
