What will bombing Syria accomplish? It will most certainly divide us as Americans, it will certainly deepen resentment from countries around the world who already feel were too big for our britches, in the end youll still have a Muslim population who will call us names and call for our demise. After all is said and done youll have a bunch of politicians who believe you can buy friendship (theyre accustom to that) rebuilding the country expecting them to be grateful. Youll just have to take a blind guess at the cost of the action but you know it will be in the multi-million dollar range. Any action may cause a retaliation toward our ally Israel which we all know wont be pretty. Israel will defend herself which could bring Russia and Iran into the picture. If the conflict spills over into other Arab states we will certainly lose any friendly relationships with those states who must take the side of the Muslims especially when Israel is involved.
Okay now lets look at the positives that we can accomplish. Huh,,,,huh,,,,huh, I need some help.

I think that if Syria gets bombed it's going to open a big can of worms .Not only will the Arab nations possibly join together, but what is China ,North Korea and Russia going to do.I believe that Russia has a pact with Syria to defend them,North Korea would surely jumb in on the band wagon. Then that leaves China. Are they going to stay neutral or join N.Korea who they have a pact with. If they all join together you can bend over and kiss your backside goodbye. This is JMO.
The reality is that the situation in Syria boils down to a lot of bad options. And those include firing missiles that will likely do nothing to protect civilians from the atrocities the Assad regime has shown no compunction about inflicting. We have no business getting involved in Syria's internal conflicts. We should stay away. But it might be too late now. Why did FDR nominate about us as the World Policeman?
Considering that only Congress can declare war, why hasn't Boehner reconvened Congress so they can hear the evidence and make a decision?
Maybe he just wants to do nothing as usual so he can complain about the results.

"The Framers of the Constitution insisted, therefore, that Congress's right to convene must be independent of the will of the executive. Article I, Section 4, Clause 2. "Each house," Thomas Jefferson wrote in 1790, had a "natural right to meet when and where it should think best."
The preceding was brought to you by the Heritage Foundation.

He can still ask Frank he just has no authority to insist.
As far as I am concerned,we have no right to bomb anyone who has not attacked us.

That's not the case.We were attacked by Japan and we declared war with Japan.Three days later,Germany and Italy declared war with the US,so I stand by my initial statement. That's just how I personally feel.

Short memory? Nah, he's just your average run-of-the-mill politician - will say anything to get votes.
