I like the concept of the shot. It just jump out. I missed something that could turn this from a snap shot to a photograph.

Suggestions are welcome.

I believe I can reproduce the shot.

While the colors are beautiful, the birds are too small to be noticeable and may even detract from the photo. If you would will you also change the angle and remove the leaves in the bottom-right? See if you like that more and thank you for sharing.

Hi Jim, I got in to digital photography only 5 months ago. . . so, take my humble suggestions with that information in mind. I would crop the photo just to the right of the highest crow (I think they're crows), and remove what appears to me to be unnatural coloring (yellow) from the clouds. I would also remove the vignetting. I downloaded my suggestions, however, I don't know how to remove the vignetting. SeamusMac

Jim, I did not read the rules about changing other peoples photos and broke the rule. Another member kindly informed me of this. Please accept my apology for changing your photo. It will not happen again. Seamus

first of all, I didn't know that rule, but who reads the rules when you are trying to help. That is exectly how I looked at it.

Secondly, I liked your improvements.

Third and last, feel free to make any improvements. Alot of times seeing gives a better understanding.

Have a great day and thanks again.

Thanks Jim. Back to your photo. What I really like about your photo is the way it directed my eye onto the crows in the tree and then the branches of the tree lean to the left and guide my eye up to the bright clouds and right through the blue sky. I also feel that the vignetting is extraneous. The eye path is perfect. I think your photo is great.
