Opinions on new Sigma 17-70 Contemporary DC HSM

I intend to buy this lens for my Pentax K10D to get rid of my Pentax 18-270mm. This new Sigma zoom has excellent reviews but I am interested from users about any negatives. Thank you for your comments. I am using DxO Oprtics Pro 8 for RAW conversion and corrections, so that I am NOT concerned by color aberration, contrast etc.

No negatives, only positives. Also no CA, sharp, and good contrast - my favourite lens now :)

I have the last version to the one that just came out - to my knowledge the same optical formula. My only dislike is the "focus breathing" - whereby the focal length shortens as you focus closer - this begins at about 5 feet. The 70mm becomes 50mm at it's closest focus. Many zooms in this range do this.
