Just a couple from this am, Program Mode, no adjustments, no cropping, hand-held, direct from camera

  Great shots. To get this result in 'P' mode & no tripod (& I bet you used AF) spells out one word for this little camera... Fantastic. :D

Great shots! I don't know how you can hold it, I have a hard time with a tripod with pistol head and remote switch; I assume you shot these at 100x??

Great shots, I like the definition on your first one on the lower portion. I got a few the other day, but weather here in Florida has been awful the last few days.

First one is at 200x (50x optical + 4x digital)
Second one is at 100x (50x optical + 2x digital)

Although they were hand-held, I did sit on a concrete post with my back against a building! Didn't use the trick of 2sec timer with hand=held either!! Sometimes I just get lucky with this awesome camera!!

Thanks Lois! I think the 60 is supposed to be more MP as well as some other adjustments, so I am very anxious to see what it will REALLY be like!!

Thanks for the info. Great that you can hold it at that distance. I wave all over the sky; however, the upside would be that I might discover an unnamed star!
