I was in my garden early this morning and found this Asiatic Dayflower in very good condition. The Black and White Wasp and the Zabulon Skipper Male were feeding then too.

I am one of those photo geeks who believes that a soft, pleasing Out-of-Focus highlight must exist to define 'good bokeh'.

Douglass - guess you're not a fan of mirrored telephoto donuts...... ;-)
Fantastic shots....
A-PeeR, I was a big fan of the Nikon 500 Mirror lens for it's donut producing Bokeh...I bought that lens in the 70's just for that, it was popular back then.

I own and use a Nikkor 500-mm Reflex lens. Controlling specular highlights minimizes doughnut-shaped bokeh.

As the Website states it is his personal opinion on what constitutes good Bokeh. I personally think there is no good or bad Bokeh it is what the person creates at the time of the shot. It all goes back to the question " what is a good image" for me it is interpretation, it is what it is. no rules.
